Drops Out After Only Two Months
   On Friday, February 23rd, the First Presidential contender for the 2008 race dropped out of the crowed Democratic field field. This leaves only seven left in the race. Barack Obama, currently the hottest of the candidates, immediately wished him well. "I will miss him. We had a lot of fun sharing a bus together, telling jokes to each other, sharing campaign intelligence and laughing at the faux pas of the other candidates. We grew very close over the last two months. I will really miss his humor" he said sadly.
Clinton Moves Into Second Place
    Probably the candidate that benefits the most from his decision to exit the race is Hiliary Clinton.  Although a formidable campaigner one on one, she has had a rough time delivering her message in bulk despite her regional strength based on her husband's exposure as the Arkansas govenor. "Although I will miss him and his humor, I don't think it will play a significant role long term. He had some local strength based on his Iowa roots  but I don't think that it would have translated to New Hampshire and beyond."

Obama Not Hussein
   Barack Hussein Obama made it official announcing that he is not Hussein and will, in fact, create an exploratory campaign for the 2008 Presidential election. There had previously been a considerable discussion as to whether he was or wasn't Hussein but today's announcement puts any further speculation to rest.
Clinton Welcomes Challenge
   "We're delighted to see that he is not Hussein," said Hilary Clinton. "We were not sure and thought that maybe it would impair his 2008 bid. I'm not sure it changes the math much but it's great to have an African American in the race. Now I can quit being the minority," she added.  
Can Minorities Be Elected?
   Both Obama and Clinton have been considered unelectable in the "red" states because they are minorities. They would need to win 22 "blue" states in order to take the Presidential title. Obama, for his part, disputed this claiming he has widespread support among Southern blue collar workers. "I can carry the South especially now that I am not Hussein. Slavery is over. My folks don't 'need' to work for 'the man' anymore," a confidant appearing Obama declared.
